FASA Creature Concept 365 Challenge Day 156
FASA 365 Day 156, Pugil Cattus (Boxer Cat) For FASA Games, 1879 Line. 3-4 ft. upwards of 5 ft tall in fighting stance.
Discovered on the Gruv, this Feline of a sort, when approached, did not arch its back and hiss as domestic cat. Rather, it instinctively stood up into a pugilistic posture and indeed, was boxing to defend itself. Hence the name.
Given its proclivity to boxing, the men set to domestication of the animals and have been “training” the felines and have been arranging “matches” or “fight nights”.
Rather than have these matches go “underground” the officers have approved these matches for the moral and entertainment of the men… provided the fights adhere to some semblance of the Marquis of Queensbury Rules.
The rules, having been established as a humane standard for boxing in England in 1865; would keep the cats relatively safe from barbaric handling.
