FASA 365 Day 123, No evil – Hurtle, (hermit turtle) 3-4ft, Solitary creature.
With 3 Heads? Solitary? Really?
Yes.
They live their lives alone, they do NOT speak… but there is some bond or communicative nature between the 3 heads. This is not humanoid. At least there is no “solid” evidence of cognitive intelligence. It lives its herbivore life, in the marshes. river routes and lakes. In the Burroughs, and muck and dugouts it can find.
No use of tools other than its claws.
It is rumored that like the 3 no evil saying, one head speaks, one head sees, one head listens… but again, no supporting evidence has been documented.
Artist Note: Ok, I am 123 day in now… and I still dont feel I have really gotten over the hump. All my creatures have a certain whimsy, and one of the goals here is to break out of that. To work up some truly Dark and malevolent beings…. and I just haven’t done that yet.
I really need to figure that out. Bear with me.
