FASA 365 Day 254, Mali Eruca, (Caterpillar Horror), 8-10ft.
Gluttonous, on every and all indulgence. Food, drink, … you name it.
(Keep it “G”, its family show)
Artists note: As a caterpillar… it will one day cocoon itself and evolve… but thats for another day.
FASA 365 Day 253, Dente Alatus Panthera Tigris, (Winged Fang Tiger) 12ft Carnivore
Thinner and lighter than the average tiger, for flights sake we assume.
The long thin extremities are giving life to the notion that the Winged Tiger is more humanoid than cat.
To be clear. although it does not speak it is considered some kind of Sphinx.
FASA 365 Day 252, Canis Avis, (Bird Dog)1-2 ft. About the size of an Earth Chi Hua Hua .
Easily tamed. Faithful.
Artists Note: I dunno. Maybe I was channeling Tex Avery. I never promised 365 epic masterpieces.
Question is… does it retrieve… itself?
FASA 365 Day 251, Tenaci Dentem Vipera, (Grip Tooth Viper), 5-6 inch, Deadly poisonous.
Eats birds, tree rodents.
With a lighting quick strike, the Grip Tooth sinks its teeth into whatever body part it can latch onto. Then wraps itself around that body part and waits.
The prey eventually collapses and dies, turning a vibrant shade of blue. This color change signals the viper, of dinner time.
it prefers to hide in thick vegetation, but it will defend itself from very large predatory beasts… usually getting thoroughly stomped or bashed for the effort.
There is no known antidote for a Grip Tooth bite.
FASA 365 Day 250, Arcticum Nix Simiae, (Arctic Snow Ape), 20ft. Yeah, ok… it’s a Yeti.
Omnivore.
Lives in the high mountains.
VERY rare to see one.
Even rarer to live to tell the tale.
Even the polar bears give these guys a wide berth.
