FASA 365 Day 158. Aranea Tenebris Dryadalis (Dark Elf Spider), 10-15 ft. Omnivore.
Oh, dear god… it’s pregnant.
I think I’ve achieved creepy.
Artists Note: How ???
First, start from insomnia. Then imagine a waltz. Specifically, the waltz/song “Deep in the Dark” from… get this… Hanna Barbera’s animated production of… “Charlottes Web”.
Get that tune firmly stuck in your head, then change the melody to minor chords.
Now draw what your imagination leads you to.

FASA 365 Day 157, Un Named, 12-15 ft.

Kind of like a “pahmped ahp” centaur.

Artists note: to be honest, I like where the head, horns, and neck were going… can’t say I’m sold on the rest of it, and what’s with the beaver tail?

What do you guys think?

FASA Creature Concept 365 Challenge Day 156

FASA 365 Day 156, Pugil Cattus (Boxer Cat) For FASA Games, 1879 Line. 3-4 ft. upwards of 5 ft tall in fighting stance.
Discovered on the Gruv, this Feline of a sort, when approached, did not arch its back and hiss as domestic cat. Rather, it instinctively stood up into a pugilistic posture and indeed, was boxing to defend itself. Hence the name.
Given its proclivity to boxing, the men set to domestication of the animals and have been “training” the felines and have been arranging “matches” or “fight nights”.
Rather than have these matches go “underground” the officers have approved these matches for the moral and entertainment of the men… provided the fights adhere to some semblance of the Marquis of Queensbury Rules.
The rules, having been established as a humane standard for boxing in England in 1865; would keep the cats relatively safe from barbaric handling.

FASA 365 Day 154, Bearded Daisy Monkey (Barbatus Bellis perennis Simia) 2-3 ft, Vegetarian.

Sharp teeth are primarily used for husking difficult or tough thick vegetation. However, they are also quite effective for defense. Defense of life and food or both.

Artists Note: This is sourced from another trip to the linoleum floor. Very helpful, I highly recommend it.
