FASA 365 Day 120, Pit Lizard. 10-15 ft. Carnivore. A creature of ABSOLUTE Loyalty, and… an aggressive and extremely violent protector.
Every bit of it is muscle, massive paws and claws that would cut a man in half if provoked.
Artist Note. This is what I was trying to do yesterday. I guess I needed the extra day to clear my head.
FASA 365 Day 119, Streamlined wolf,
Bigger head, massive shoulders, stretched out and sleek lined. Spikes are defensive to hinder attack from above.
Artist Note. This sketch started 3 different times today… each with the intention of more of a lizard or amphibious notion. And each time the snout became more and more K9 as the drawing progressed… so I went with it.
FASA 365 Day 118, Great Flying Worm. For DemonWorld. 100-120 Yards.
Yeah, its a dragon.
Artists Note: Looking at the Miniatures for DemonWorld, my take away is a kind of a fusion of Asian and European thinking for connecting the dragons.
Does this check all the boxes?
FASA 365 Day 117, Thorn Crested Loper. Omnivore, 15-30 ft. Lives in crags of rocky beaches.
Can swim, prefers not. Lazy? maybe but able to muster amazing short bursts of speed. Up to 45 kph.
Will eat algae, seaweed and other oceanic vegetation in a pinch. Prefers meat.
Hunts by slow lope, lulling its prey into false sense of security, and then springs forward suddenly.
Jaws are tremendously strong and LOCK onto its prey, Once locked, NOTHING has proven successful in getting the loper to release. Saliva is highly toxic and acidic, resulting in prey pulling themselves free, leaving whatever body part the loper has behind.
FASA 365 Day 116, Jelly Ray. 10-12 ft wingspan, 3ft dome. 6-8ft spike.
Highly poisonous “ganglia”. akin to the sting of Earths “man-o-war” jellyfish; times 10.
