FASA 365 Day 114, Top Loader, For 1879 Amphibious, 3-5 ft. sometimes 8-10 ft stretch.
It’s amazing to see how things you recognize get mis- or rather – mix matched here on the Gruv.
This thing grabs and pulls in anything it can get ahold of. Chopping a tentacle off doesn’t mean the offending appendage lets go. So far, we have managed to remove the tentacle after an attack. With minimal tissue damage. BUT… the fact that the thing wasn’t letting go leads scientists to hypothesize that, like an earthworm, an entirely new creature would grow from the piece.
Command has ordered, rather, to destroy all pieces once removed.
However, rumors do persist that there is a secret lab…
FASA 365 Day 113 Blind Badger Bear, 3ft
Nocturnal, living in caves and dugouts.
The Bladder on his forehead and enlarged ears send out and receive sonar, allowing him to hunt and dig at night.
FASA 365 Day 109, Humpback Wader, 20-25 ft. LARGE Patch of calcified …. “stuff” on its back.
Found in grassy marshes. Fierce looking, but definitely an herbivore. ALL the horns and pointy stuff are for digging.
However, don’t this guy knows how to USE what he’s got to defend itself. Including letting itself be bitten on the back. Which explains the bits of broken teeth often visible that were left behind.
FASA 365 Day 108, Deaple Bird, 2-3 inches.
Considered a sign of good fortune, and happiness. The name comes from its chirp or trill.
Legend says that the Deaple Bird, should be welcomed and encouraged to stay. BUT, DO NOT attempt to capture or cage it. A caged Deaple dies quickly, its spirit crushed, bringing catastrophic misfortune for the one who captured it.
FASA 365 Day 107, Un-Named, For EarthDawn, Specifically the Champions Challenge Graphic Novels.
Let’s Talk about EarthDawn Horrors. I needed to start concepting this Creature for the upcoming Vol 3 of Champion’s Challenge. Yes, there will be a Vol 3.
This thing, as stated above, is as yet Un-named. The good folks at EarthDawn ie Kyle Pritchard who is taking on the mantle of co-writer at Champions Challenge, will be helping me with the chore of naming this guy, but….
I’d be willing to listen to suggestions.
