FASA 365, Day 281, Ignis Troglodytarum Daemonum, (Fire Troll Demon) 2-5ft
Dark Fae, A creature of Fire and Magic.
Assistants to the Demonic Weapons Smiths.
Not too bright.
Have been known to give magical weapons to the wrong recipients IF their claims are plausible.
Again, not too bright.
When a fire troll was questioned as to why a very powerful magic hammer was given away to the wrong recipient he said, “because, he wanted it.”
FASA 365 Day 280, Mantodea Draconis, (Dragon Mantis), 12-18 Inches.
Carnivore. Prey includes large insects, rodents, and bats.
Not poisonous or venomous, the thorns on his “arms” will sting and its grip is strong.
Its bite is piercing. However, its only claim to the dragon moniker is its size and silhouette. Oh, and it flies.
The male of the species, like most insects is smaller… like 1/4 the size of the female.
The male is also much faster than the female. This helps with the perpetuating of the species as it is able to escape being eaten after mating.
FASA 365 Day 279, Tristis Cobolorum, (Depressed Leprechaun) 4-5 ft For 1879.
What happens when a leprechaun becomes uncontrollably melancholy? They grow larger, there features distort and mutate. Their magic alters and they become malevolent.
They become, a Hobgoblin.
Having contracted “looking glass fever” the subject first changed to that of his fae nature… a leprechaun.
The girl of his dreams, who had never given him a tumble before, swooped in and accepted his previous, multiple proposals of marriage.
Now everyone knows that leprechauns are tricksters and he wasn’t about to tell the, gold digging fiancee, he not only had no “pot o gold”, but also; neither no pot to pee in. Nor, a window to throw it out of.
Upon discovering this fact. She promptly left him.
Depression soon followed and a new transformation soon began. (seen here).
Unfortunately for her, Hobgoblins are a particular vindictive bunch. Hyper focusing on those who wronged them. In this case, his ex-wife.
FASA 365 Day 278,
Indignus Inmortui Normanni, (Unworthy Undead Norseman) 8ft… tortured (stretched on the rack)
Since he did not die in battle, with honor, no sword in his hand; he was deemed unworthy to enter Valhalla. A technicality.
He argued the point, saying he kept his honor. He never broke. He revealed no secrets. Never giving his comrades away.
Still, the rules of the afterlife must be upheld… so he was sent to the underworld.
Unwanted, Undead, but NOT Unaware.
A singularity in Hela’s armies.
Artists Note: So, Where does he fit in FASA? I don’t know… but I am confident he can find a home. Somewhere? Guys?
FASA 365 Day 277, Ursus Caeca Externa Spina, (Outer Spine Blind Bear) Omnivore. 15-20ft.
Calling this bear blind is a misnomer, it can see through the thick patch of hair that covers its eyes. Quite well actually.
The tusks and protruding spine give the bear an ominous silhouette. However, its proclivity to walk in a perpetual stoop… is rather comical.
Mostly a calm and docile, but can be quite the curmudgeon.
