FASA 365 Day 48, Gouging Locust. 8 -14 inch. Swarming insectoid. Omnivore. Attach to prey and lower jaw gouges 1/2 inch long and 1/4 inch deep, through muscle, tendon, and bone. Steel protects the adventurer, unless they find their way under and inside.
FASA 365 Day 47, Charcoalgrin, Concept request from the Earthdawn team. She is one DIVA of a Dragon. Worked this one up for the Drink and Draw live online event for FASA Games Freedoniacon. Looking forward to getting notes from the team and working on her some more. Still, its a nice start.
FASA 365 Day 46, Confusion Sea Turtle, 3ft diameter, 5ft reach at the flipper.
Named by the first witness, a “Drunken Sailor” who couldn’t tell if it was coming or going.
The unfortunate sailer was found covered in an extremely foul smelling green algae, repeating the same statement again and again.
Quote: “That ain’t its head, it’s a tail, and dont try to look it in the eyes.”
Todays LiveStream QuickSketch – FASA 365 Day 45 Cute Overload. Un-named, I combined a bear, dog, cat, rabbit, and goat. Talk about your mutt of a species. Still, I did what I wanted to accomplish; to get the cute of my system so I can focus on something gnarly tomorrow.
FASA 365 Day 44, Howling Screamer, 2-3ft, Effectively blind in any light. Prehensile tongue. Found in deep, deep, caves. Lives among and about the bat guano.
The high pitched scream, disrupts the sonar of the bats causing them to pitch and crash heavily into the guano. The bats, are helplessly stuck in the muck making them easy prey.
The Screamer, is NOT edible, not that anyone has attempted, considering it’s steady diet of bat and guano.
