Then laughing at the mayhem of the riots.

Serving as General, and Confidant to the Queen.

Second Mission, Protect the hive.
The Guardian takes his orders from the queen but advises as an outside source of information about incoming dangers such as natural disasters, bears, wasps, and of course; the greatest threat of all, man.

A creature of surface vegetation, algae, and of course… magic.

Yeah. Thats because she does not live under the surface. She is the water.
Drowning her victims, with a kiss. A kiss that floods the mouth, neck, lungs. Leaving her victim on the riverbank or lakeside. Not pulling them under the surface and “polluting” her home water.
