FASA 365 Day 128, Butler Beatle or Murder Cricket. 2-3 inch Omnivore, (prefers carnivorous)
This machiavellian little piece of nastiness is as ruthless as they come. It has been observed, serving smaller, older, or injured insects. To the point of OVER feeding them, thus making them immobile, unable to defend themselves.
He then attacks from behind; biting through and severing the victims brain stem or equivalent. He then proceeds to eat them… alive.
If you find a bunch of inexplicable insect husks, you can safely say… “The Butler did it.”
Dungeon Survival note: If injured or incapacitated in the dungeon, and a group of these bugs start bringing you morsels or droplets of water, DO NOT accept it. It’s NOT a godsend.
FASA 365 Day 127, Kelp Dragon, Seaweed Snake. 6-8 inches long. Omnivore.
Usually laying on the bottom and around aquatic vegetation.
Fierce and HIGHLY defensive. Will attack things much larger than itself.
Nasty bite… even if non lethal.
FASA 365 Day 126, Sea Hortle, 100-150ft.
Yes, another sea monster.
Artists Note: I started with the mouth… and stared at it for 2 hours. Then. cam the back o the head, sea turtle, added the middle fins. Then the whispy tentacles-ish, things…. and then another 2 hours of staring at it. FINALLY, the mantis forearms.
Sometimes, concepting just needs a good stare, I guess.

Yup, thats a Dragon and Toad hybrid, and yes, he breathes fire… at least enough to light your pipe.
