FASA 365 Day 22, NOT a Manticore, NOT a Sphinx, but… Human-ish head and face, Winged Cheetah. What would you call her?
FASA 365 Day 21, Dirigible Dolphin, 6-8 ft circumference. Able to stay submerged for LONG stretches at a time. Solitary existence. Eats small slow fish, algae and crustaceans, EXTREME Devastating Sonar attack capability.
FASA 365 Day 20, Great Horned Ape Frog, 6-8 ft, 600lb or more. Not known as a jumping frog, it is one heck of a climber. Sticks to elevated surrounding. Long tongue will attack birds as smaller frogs will prey on insect life. Larger of the species have been known to attack low flying pterodactyl.
FASA 365 Day 19, a Lizhka, no reason. Just Lizhka. 1-2 ft tall. Solitary creature, an Omnivore. This guy nests byburrowing into dead tree hollows and stumps. Primarily eating the insects, mushrooms and truffles that it finds while creating multiple dwellings in its territory.
FASA 365 Day 18, Poc Lobster Mosquito, This nasty little guy… He flies to you, grabs ahold with front pincers, jaw mandibles, barbed legs and daggers at the end of its body and end of its antenna. Once secure the wings detach… he won’t need them anymore. His thick exoskeleton protects it from swatting and smacking it once attached only drives it in farther.
Again, once firmly attached, then it goes to work. Drilling into the hosts flesh and feeding parasitically indefinitely. Removal, either surgically or ripping it from the victim is the only choice. And it does leave without taking as much flesh as it can with it. Leaving a crater of exposed flesh behind. Looking like an infected poc mark. Hence the name it bears.
Don’t ask. I don’t know why I think this stuff up… Its a gift.
